ENWIN is proud to support organizations and initiatives that strengthen the communities we serve. Through the Community Support Program, we invest in projects that create meaningful, lasting impacts across Windsor-Essex. Our vision is to connect communities through clean energy and water solutions, and this program helps bring that vision to life by supporting organizations, initiatives and events that contribute to a better quality of life and a sustainable future.

Community Support funding is directed toward initiatives that align with ENWIN's mission, vision and values while delivering benefits to the communities we serve. Guided by our commitment to agility, trust, stewardship, excellence and purpose, we seek opportunities to support local organizations whose work creates positive and lasting community impact.

Before You Apply

Before submitting an application, please review the Community Support Program Guidelines. When reviewing applications, ENWIN considers:

Community impact
Alignment with ENWIN's mission, vision and values
Benefits to the communities ENWIN serves
Local impact
Opportunities to recognize ENWIN's support

The following organizations, initiatives and requests are not eligible for funding through ENWIN's Community Support Program:

Political parties or candidates
Religious organizations
Individual public, private or parochial schools
Special-interest advocacy groups
Sport-based organizations and teams
Personal sponsorships

Funding Priorities

To help guide funding decisions, applications are evaluated based on their alignment with one or more of ENWIN's five Community Support Program investment priorities.

Conservation – Protecting natural resources and promoting environmental stewardship.
Innovation – Encouraging new ideas, learning opportunities, and forward-thinking solutions.
Quality of Life – Supporting programs and services that enhance the well-being of individuals and families.
Sustainability – Contributing to projects that create long-term social, environmental, and community benefits.
Technology and Infrastructure – Strengthening the systems, services, and resources that help communities grow and succeed.

These focus areas reflect ENWIN's commitment to the people we serve and our dedication to building a stronger, more resilient future across Windsor-Essex and the communities within our service area.

How to Apply

Step 1: Review the Guidelines

Download and review the Community Support Program Guidelines to confirm application requirements.

Step 2: Complete the Application Form

Provide details about your organization, the initiative being proposed and the requested funding.

Step 3: Review Submission

Ensure all required information is included with your application.

Step 4: Submit Before the Deadline

Applications must be received no later than November 27, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.
