ENWIN selects Habitat for Humanity Windsor-Essex for $10,000 Donation

Windsor, ON: ENWIN Utilities Ltd. is proud to facilitate a $10,000 donation to Habitat for Humanity Windsor-Essex, made possible through the Electricity Distributors Association (EDA) Performance Excellence Award and the generosity of the Doane Grant Thornton Foundation.
ENWIN was named the recipient of the 2025 Local Distribution Company (LDC) Performance Excellence Award earlier this year. As part of the recognition, the Doane Grant Thornton Foundation donates $10,000 to a local charity selected by the winning utility. ENWIN chose Habitat for Humanity Windsor-Essex in recognition of its efforts to provide safe and affordable housing for families in need.
“Both ENWIN and Habitat for Humanity share a belief that strong communities begin with access — whether it’s to housing, water or energy,” said Garry Rossi, ENWIN President & CEO. “We’re proud to support an organization that’s making a real difference for families in Windsor-Essex.”
To mark the occasion, ENWIN representatives joined Habitat staff and volunteers at a build site on Brock Street in Windsor during an open house event. The informal gathering included a cheque presentation and tour of the home under construction.
The donation reflects ENWIN’s ongoing commitment to supporting people-centred initiatives that strengthen the communities it serves.
