Windsor, ON: ENWIN's Manager Human Resources, Rosana Kemsley was presented with a Dream Builder Award at today's Build a Dream International Day of the Girl virtual event.

The Dream Builder Award honoured Rosana's tireless efforts to promote diversity and inclusion, both within ENWIN and in the community. In her role as Human Resources Manager, she established and created ENWIN's Engaged Workforce Council, an advisory body that identifies challenges and barriers and recommends strategy.

In addition, she leads cultural and gender awareness partnerships with the Multicultural Council of Windsor and Essex County, the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers and WEST of Windsor. Last year, her mentorship of a female newcomer through Women's Enterprise Skills Training of Windsor (WEST) was recognised by the organization through a diversity award presented to ENWIN.

"My colleagues have often heard me recite the lyrics of John Lennon's Imagine 'You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one'," says Rosana. "I truly believe that we all want to see a world that is more diverse and inclusive, and I'm proud to do my part within my workplace and my community to make that happen."

"Rosana's dedication to women in the workforce extends far beyond the utility," remarked Helga Reidel, ENWIN President & CEO. "She is a tireless advocate for the career advancement of women of diverse cultures in the community, and a champion of inclusion at all levels in the company. On behalf of everyone at ENWIN, congratulations Rosana!"
