We attempt to read all of our water meters each and every month. If we are unable to access our equipment and get a water meter reading, we will leave a water meter-reading card behind. Fill in the card and drop it in the mail, submit the readings to email@example.com or give us a call at (519)255-2727.
Most homes have a visual device attached to the water meter, located on the outside of the building. This device allows us to read the meter without having to enter your home. If the wire linking this device to the meter deteriorates or becomes detached, we will be able to tell because the device itself will stop registering usage.
Faulty / Failed Meters
If we believe there is a problem with either your meter or the outside visual device attached to it, or if your meter is scheduled for a routine upgrade / exchange, we will contact you requesting access to do the necessary work
