Programs & Initiatives
Conservation is a key factor in securing our future for a reliable, sustainable,
and affordable energy and water supply. This is why EnWin Utilities is making
Conservation a priority, and is offering a variety of programs that have been
designed to help us work together with our customers to save dollars, kilowatts,
and the environment.
Listed here are some province-wide energy saving initiatives in which we are
currently participating; we encourage you to become involved in any or all of
these value adding programs.

Great Refrigerator Round-Up Program
Get EnWin and the Ontario Power Authority to help you get
rid of that electricity guzzling old second fridge in an
environmentally sensitive way with the Great Refrigerator
Roundup Program.

peaksaver
Joining the peaksaver program means you can help reduce the demand
for electricity in your community. And you'll feel great knowing
you're doing something good for the environment. To be eligible
you must be a homeowner of a single-family home with a central
cooling system. We'll do all the work at no expense to you.
In fact, you'll even receive $25 from the Ontario Power Authority
just for signing up.

Power Savings Blitz
The Power Savings Blitz provides qualifying small businesses with free electricity-saving products valued up to $1000 (including installation)
with the aim of helping them to become more energy efficient.

Electricity Retrofit Incentive Program
The Ontario Power Authority (OPA) in conjunction with EnWin Utilities has
developed the Electricity Retrofit Incentive Program (ERIP) for non-residential
facilities in Ontario. The objective of the program is to leverage energy
conservation and load management opportunities by offering incentives for
sustainable, measurable and verifiable energy retrofits that result in
on-peak demand savings and annual energy savings.

Green Suites
Green Suites is a conservation program specifically for the hotel and motel industry in Windsor.
This new program is brought to you by EnWin Utilities and the Ontario Restaurant Hotel and Motel Association
(ORHMA) with sponsorship from the Ontario Power Authority (OPA).
